abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, safe and inexpensive method for producing a polysilane-based copolymer excellent in film formability, mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and the like as a thin film. SOLUTION: A halosilane compound and a vinyl compound are introduced into a reaction system, and a magnesium metal component is allowed to act in an aprotic solvent in the presence of a metal halide to produce a polysilane-based random or block copolymer. The lithium compound may be a lithium halide, and the metal halide may be a polyvalent metal halide. |
