titleOfInvention | Method for treating ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously replace a part of a solvent in an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution with water without causing gelation of a high-concentration ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution. Provided is a method for treating an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution that can be obtained. SOLUTION: An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution is supplied to a column vessel selected from a tray column and a packed column, and a part of the solvent in the solution is replaced with water in the column vessel. . At this time, a mixed vapor of the solvent and water is supplied from a lower portion of the tray column or the packed column, and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution is supplied from a position above a supply position of the mixed vapor, and ethylene-vinyl alcohol is supplied. The alcohol copolymer solution and the mixed vapor of the solvent and water are brought into contact with each other in countercurrent so that a part of the solvent in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer solution is replaced by water. |
