(57) [Summary] [Problem] To be free from problems in terms of safety and taste, satisfy economical requirements, can be always taken as food, and for prevention or treatment of hypertension. ACE Provided are useful novel peptides that effectively act as activity inhibitors, and useful methods for producing such peptides. SOLUTION: The novel peptide of the present invention comprises (1) Val -Glu-Met, (2) Val-G1u-A1a, (3) A peptide having any peptide chain of Ala-Leu-Trp. This peptide is obtained by combining an endo-type protease and an exo-type peptidase with a protein in a protein-containing substance having the above-mentioned peptide chain as a peptide component. It is obtained by acting together and hydrolyzing the protein. |
