titleOfInvention | Method for recovering aprotic polar solvent in trifluoroethyl carboxylic acid ester production |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate separation of a solvent and a by-product metal chloride by increasing the size of a by-product metal chloride in a process for producing a trifluoroethyl carboxylate, and Provided is a method for recovering an aprotic polar solvent in the production of ethyl carboxylate. SOLUTION: 2,2,2-Trifluoro-1-chloroethane and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid are reacted in an aprotic polar solvent to produce a trifluoroethyl carboxylic acid ester, and a metal chloride by-produced. In a method of separating and recovering a solvent from a reaction solution containing the compound, a metal salt of 2,2,2-trifluoro-1-chloroethane and a carboxylic acid is reacted in an aprotic polar solvent in the presence of a hydroxyl group-containing organic compound. A method of recovering a solvent in the production of trifluoroethyl carboxylate, comprising separating an aprotic polar solvent from a reaction solution after the reaction is completed. |
