abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Food products such as daily food products, in particular, non-souped noodle foods such as fried rice, chicken rice and other cooked rice products, spaghetti, yakisoba, fried udon, baked rice powder, etc. It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel food preservative which can be applied to processed foods of sage, ham, other meats and fishes, and has a significantly improved shelf life compared to conventional ones. An edible oil or fat is added in an amount of 0.1 to 100 parts by weight of the oil or fat. A food preservative comprising an oil-insoluble antibacterial substance uniformly dispersed and contained in an amount of up to 100 parts by weight. |
