abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a rubber composition for a bead filler, which has higher rigidity than conventional bead fillers and does not decrease in fracture properties. SOLUTION: 100 parts by weight of a rubber component, 5 to 40 parts by weight of a phenolic thermosetting resin, 4 to 20 parts by weight of hexamethylenetetramine per 100 parts by weight of the phenolic thermosetting resin, A rubber composition for a bead filler of a tire, comprising 10 to 80 parts by weight of a melamine derivative per 100 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin, and a pneumatic tire using the same.
