titleOfInvention Powdered alginate impression material composition
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a powdery alginate impression material having good initial affinity with water and preventing the development of water repellency with time. SOLUTION: In an impression material containing an alginate, a gelling agent, a gelling modifier, a surfactant and a diatomaceous earth, the diatomaceous earth contains at least 50% by weight of a diatomaceous earth having a rod-like shape, and the surfactant is used. A powdery alginate impression material composition, which is a polyoxyethylene aliphatic ether.
