Solution casting method and apparatus and film |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To increase the film formation speed in a solution casting method for cellulose triacetate film or the like. A casting die is disposed above an end of a casting band. The dope is cast from the casting die 3 onto the casting band 1. Labyrinths 4, 6 and seals 5, 7 are provided in front (in the direction in which the cast dope is conveyed) and behind the casting die 3. By the seals 6 and 7, the drying air entering under the labyrinths 4 and 5 is guided to the openings 8 on both sides. Most of the drying air introduced from the drying air supply ducts 11 and 12 is blocked by the labyrinths 4 and 6. Most of the drying air that has entered the seals 5 and 7 below the labyrinths 4 and 6 passes through the opening 8 to the side and does not reach the casting part. Even if the drying air having a large air volume is used, the process is not destabilized and the surface quality is not deteriorated, and the film forming speed can be increased. |
