titleOfInvention Dielectric barrier discharge lamp and dielectric barrier discharge lamp device
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To enable high-temperature heating / exhaust treatment of a discharge vessel and cut-off of a discharge vessel, transmit ultraviolet light of a predetermined short wavelength, have a simple structure, can be miniaturized, and relatively. An inexpensive dielectric barrier discharge lamp and a dielectric barrier discharge lamp device using the same are provided. The wavelength at which the transmittance rises to 50% is 150 to 150%. A discharge vessel 1a in which at least a vacuum ultraviolet ray lead-out portion is formed of quartz glass having a spectral transmittance characteristic between 155 nm and a discharge medium capable of forming excimer molecules is enclosed. And a pair of electrodes 1b1 and 1b2, at least one of which is an external electrode disposed on the outer surface of the discharge vessel 1a. The discharge vessel 1a allows a double cylindrical tube shape, a so-called lunch box shape, a cylindrical tube shape, or the like. The external electrode can have a mesh structure.
