abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To ensure the safety of an operator when manufacturing an electron source substrate of an image display device using a surface conduction electron-emitting device. SOLUTION: A droplet of a solution containing a material of a conductive thin film is jetted between a plurality of pairs of device electrodes on a substrate, and a surface conduction electron-emitting device using the conductive thin film is provided. Groups are formed. A chamfer Cl (table) is formed on a ridge line region where the surface of the region where the surface conduction electron-emitting device group is formed and the surface in the thickness direction perpendicular to the surface intersect. Cr (front) Cl (back) and Cr (back) are applied. |
