abstract | (57) [Solution] As a heat roller fixing method, a so-called oil-less method that enables fixing without using an offset prevention liquid, and a spherical shape to a substantially spherical shape capable of obtaining a developed image of excellent quality. It is desired to provide an electrostatic image developing toner composed of a polyester resin. SOLUTION: A mixture comprising an acidic group-containing polyester resin (I) as a binder resin and at least a binder resin, a colorant, a release agent and an organic solvent is mixed with an aqueous medium in the presence of a base. The toner for developing an electrostatic image is obtained by a production method of forming resin particles containing at least a colorant and a release agent in a binder resin by emulsification. The form of the release agent contained in the mixture is a dispersion of the release agent obtained by dissolving the release agent in an organic solvent in the presence of the dispersant, and then precipitating and finely dispersing the same. |
