titleOfInvention | Toner for developing electrostatic images |
abstract | (57) [Solution] As a heat roller fixing method, a so-called oil-less method that enables fixing without using an offset prevention liquid, and a spherical shape to a substantially spherical shape capable of obtaining a developed image of excellent quality. It is desired to provide an electrostatic image developing toner composed of a polyester resin. An acidic group-containing polyester resin (I) is used as a binder resin, and a mixture containing at least the binder resin, a colorant and an organic solvent is mixed and emulsified with an aqueous medium in the presence of a base. Thus, the toner for developing an electrostatic image is obtained by a production method of forming resin particles containing at least a colorant in a binder resin. The form of the colorant contained in the mixture is a colorant dispersion obtained by finely dispersing the colorant in an organic solvent in the presence of the dispersant. |
