abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having good air permeability, bending fatigue resistance, workability, and improved durability at low temperatures, and to reduce the weight of the tire. To provide a rubber composition for an inner liner and a pneumatic tire using the same. SOLUTION: (A) 40% by weight of halogenated butyl rubber 65 to 95% by weight of butyl rubber containing the above, 5 to 25% by weight of epichlorohydrin rubber, and 0 to 0 of conjugated diene rubber. A rubber composition for an inner liner containing 30% by weight of a rubber component and (B) a layered or plate-like inorganic filler, and a pneumatic tire using this rubber composition for an inner liner.
