[PROBLEMS] To predict the relative survival probability of patients with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The method includes obtaining a biological sample from a squamous cell carcinoma patient, detecting the level of maspin gene expression in the biological sample, and determining the detected expression level as a threshold for maspin gene expression. Comparing with the level predicts the relative survival probability of patients with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). |
