titleOfInvention | Light control material, light control film, and method of manufacturing light control film |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To control the total amount of incident light, there is no aggregation or sedimentation of light-polarized particles, there is no local change in hue due to a change in substrate spacing, and control is achieved by destruction of a sealing material between substrates. Provided is a light control film which exhibits a constant response time over the entire surface without fear of leakage of an optical material and has excellent durability against ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: In a light control film having a light control layer comprising a solid resin matrix and a light polarization suspension dispersed in the solid resin matrix, a polymer having a substituent having an ethylenically unsaturated bond and an acylphosphine are provided. It contains an oxide-based photopolymerization initiator and contains a polymer medium that is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays, and a light polarization suspension in which particles are dispersed in a dispersion medium in a flowable state, The dispersion medium in the optically polarized light suspension is capable of phase-separating from the polymer medium and its cured product. The light modulating material is irradiated with ultraviolet light to cure the polymer having a substituent having an ethylenically unsaturated bond. By doing so, a light control layer is formed. |
