abstract (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide an ultraviolet ray blocking agent effective for blocking UV-A ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: The band gap energy is 2.5 to 3.2 eV and the average particle size is 1 to 500 n An ultraviolet ray blocking agent comprising fine particles in the range of m. The fine particles are made of an inorganic oxide, and in particular, potassium oxide is used in an amount of at least one of titanium oxide, zinc oxide, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, nickel oxide, and cobalt oxide in an amount of 0.005 to 30 mol%. An ultraviolet ray blocking agent that is complex and is a solid solution.
