abstract (57) Abstract: A positive electrode having a positive electrode material layer formed on a positive electrode metal foil and a negative electrode having a negative electrode material layer formed on a negative electrode metal foil are laminated via an electrolyte layer. A battery element which is a terminal part by laminating seven or more thin-film unit battery elements in the thickness direction, and joining tabs of each metal foil for positive electrode and tabs of each metal foil for negative electrode respectively. Batteries, Provided is a battery in which tabs of a metal foil for a positive electrode and a negative electrode are bonded with high bonding strength without generating a defective portion such as a short circuit. SOLUTION: Tabs 4a of a positive electrode metal foil 22 of each stacked unit battery element and tabs 4 of a negative electrode metal foil 26 are provided. b and the lead 21 are joined by resistance welding. The stacked body of the unit battery elements is vacuum-sealed in the exterior materials 2 and 3. The lead 21 extends outside from the mating surface of the exterior materials 2 and 3.
