titleOfInvention | Optical compensation sheet, polarizing plate and liquid crystal display |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a liquid crystal display device excellent in display quality without light leakage due to thermal distortion. SOLUTION: A cellulose acetate having a degree of acetylation in the range of 59.0 to 61.5%, and an aromatic compound having at least two aromatic rings in an amount of 0.01 to 20 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of cellulose acetate. The cellulose acylate film contains one part by mass of cellulose acetate film, and has a Re retardation value in the range of 20 to 70 nm. An optical compensation sheet having a retardation value in the range of 70 to 400 nm and a coefficient of hygroscopic expansion of 30 × 10 −5 /% RH or less is used for a liquid crystal display device. |
