abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is a component measuring device capable of reliably measuring a predetermined component in a body fluid in a short time. A component measuring apparatus includes a main body, a finger pad, and a puncturing means housed in a housing. , A chip retracting mechanism 6, a pump 8, an electromagnetic valve, a pressure sensor, and a measuring means 7. The chip 13 is mounted on the housing 5, and a fingertip is pressed against the finger contact portion 3 to seal the tip of the chip 13. When the operation button 222 is pressed, the pump 8 operates, and the housing 5 is detected by a pressure sensor. Only when the pressure inside the housing 5 is detected and the inside of the housing 5 is in a reduced pressure state, the puncturing means 4 operates, and the puncture needle of the tip 13 punctures the fingertip. Blood is sucked from the puncture site, and when this blood collection is detected, the pump 8 is stopped, the solenoid valve is opened, and the reduced pressure state is released. Thereafter, the predetermined component is measured by the measuring means 7, processed by the control means 11, and the result is displayed on the display unit 12.
