(57) [Problem] To provide a collagen-binding osteogenesis-promoting fusion protein having an activity of promoting osteogenesis and imparting a binding activity to collagen. The present invention provides a fusion protein in which an osteogenesis promoting factor is linked to an amino acid sequence corresponding to a fibronectin-derived collagen-binding domain obtained by degradation with a protease, and a collagen matrix in which the fusion protein is complexed with collagen. A collagen-binding bone formation promoting fusion protein, which is a hybrid protein having a bone formation promoting activity and imparted with a collagen binding activity, is useful as a bone formation promoting factor drug delivery system (DDS). Furthermore, the protein can be complexed with collagen, and the collagen matrix thus functionally modified is useful as a new biomaterial for tissue regeneration through the activity of promoting bone formation. |
