titleOfInvention Method for forming liquid crystal alignment film and method for manufacturing liquid crystal display device
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] By preventing drying unevenness of a liquid crystal alignment film, Provided are a method for forming a liquid crystal alignment film and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, which can prevent defects in liquid crystal alignment and reduce defects in the liquid crystal display device. A solvent in which a polar main solvent (preferably γ-butyrolactone or N-methyl-α-pyrrolidone) is mixed with about 5 to 15% by weight of butyl-β-oxyethyl ether as a leveling agent. A step of dissolving a polymer material (preferably polyimide) and applying it on a substrate, a step of pre-baking the substrate and volatilizing at least a part of the mixed solvent, and a step of heating the polymer material at a higher temperature than the pre-bake And a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device including the same.
