titleOfInvention Copper converter operation method
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] In copper converter operation, P accompanying copper b, As and Sb are efficiently separated and removed from the molten copper without applying a load during the can-making period and the copper-making period of the converter operation. SOLUTION: After the copper making period is over, in a copper converter operation in which oxygen-containing gas is blown from a tuyere to oxidize a part of the molten copper, a converter inlet is provided at the end of the copper making period. This is a copper converter operation method characterized by terminating the copper-making period after supplying a flux containing SiO 2 as a main component, and subsequently performing the overblowing. This overblowing is composed of primary overblowing forming Pb-rich slag and secondary overblowing forming As / Sb-rich slag. Powder injection blowing to be performed.
