SOLUTION: An average diameter of 45 μm to 100 parts by weight of a rubber component containing at least 90% by weight of a diene rubber. A tread rubber composition for a studless tire, comprising 2 to 15 parts by weight of a 250-μm plate-like natural glass and having a Shore A hardness in a range of 35 to 55.
