titleOfInvention Technology for improving bioavailability of water-soluble and low-absorbency drugs
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] A novel absorption promotion technology for enhancing the absorption of a water-soluble, low-absorbency drug from the gastrointestinal tract and obtaining a therapeutic drug concentration in blood that is effective for treatment. SOLUTION: C6-18 is a water-soluble, low-absorbency drug. A formulation prepared by blending an ester mixture of a glycerol ester of a fatty acid and a macrogol ester of a C6-18 fatty acid solved the above problem.
