titleOfInvention | Method for producing isocyanate |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To obtain high-purity isocyanate from carbamate using a low-cost silicate-based catalyst easily separated from a reaction medium by filtration or centrifugation, at a high reaction rate and selection. Providing a process that is simple and economical to manufacture, with high efficiency and yield. A method for producing an isocyanate from a carbamate by catalytic pyrolysis in an organic solvent using a natural or synthetic silicate as a catalyst. The natural silicate is clay, especially montmorillonite or H + modified bentonite, and the synthetic silicate is zeolite, especially ZSM- 5, a method which is TS-1, TS-2, ZSM-11, Linde X, Linde Y, fausiteite or mordenite. Examples of the carbamate include N-carbomethoxyaniline, examples of the solvent include 1,2-dichlorobenzene, and examples of the catalyst include montmorillonite. |
