abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an engine cover having excellent soundproofing and vibrationproofing effects. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a urethane foam resin obtained by foaming a two-component urethane foam resin composition on the back surface of a resin or metal engine cover 1 at room temperature to have the same shape as the irregularities on the outer surface of the engine. An engine cover characterized in that a layer 2 is provided so that the urethane foam resin layer 2 can be attached to the surface of the engine in a press-contact state.
