titleOfInvention | Fingerprint collection method, fingerprint collection color-imparting material and fingerprint collection sheet |
abstract | (57) Abstract: Provided is a fingerprint collecting technique which can be implemented easily at low cost and does not cause discomfort due to ink remaining on a finger. A microcapsule (6) containing a colorless color former that becomes colored upon contact with a color developing material is first placed on a fingerprint surface (1) of a finger. Then, the fingerprint surface 1 is pressed against the surface of the fingerprint collecting sheet 5 having the surface layer 5s containing the color developing material, and the micro-finger is sandwiched between the ridge portion 2 of the fingerprint surface 1 and the sheet 5. The capsule 6 is broken by the pressing force, and the coloring material contained therein is applied to the sheet 5 along the fingerprint ridge portion 2. The color former absorbed by the sheet surface layer 5s reacts with the color developer of the surface layer 5s to become colored, and the colored pattern 7 along the fingerprint ridge is colored on the sheet 5. On the other hand, the microcapsules 6 in the fingerprint groove 3 are not broken, and no colored pattern is formed at the corresponding portion. |
