titleOfInvention Computer-readable recording medium and program recording a program for displaying a light source on a game screen, and game screen display method and apparatus
abstract (57) [Summary] A light trace expressing a trace generated when a light source moves in a virtual three-dimensional space can be displayed with more reality. A table or the like to be used first is initialized (S 1). Next, the light source or the like is moved by an operation input or the like (S3). Next, perform perspective transformation to obtain the position of the light source on the display screen (S5). Next, a polygon having a predetermined width is generated along a new movement locus of the light source on the display screen (S7). Next, the transparency of all generated polygons is increased (S9). Polygons generated earlier have higher transparency. Then, a texture is mapped to the polygon, the brightness of which increases along the movement locus of the light source and the brightness decreases as the distance from the movement locus increases. Then, a polygon is drawn on the movement locus of the light source using α blending (S11). The drawn image is displayed on the display screen (S13). This is repeated until the game ends for each display frame (S15).
