abstract | (57) [Problem] To develop an image forming method and an image forming apparatus capable of obtaining a high-quality and stable copy image for a long period of time without causing image unevenness, black stripes, and fogging, which are major problems. Provided are an electrostatic latent image developing toner having extremely excellent cleaning performance, and an image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image formed by performing charging and image exposure on a photosensitive member is developed with a developer, and a toner image formed is transferred onto a transfer material. And a method of repeating the step of cleaning and removing residual toner by a rubber blade, wherein the toner has a coefficient of variation in shape factor of 16% or less and a number variation coefficient in number particle size distribution of 27% or less.
