abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable alkaline p-phenylenediamine derivative which can be used universally for producing various color developer formulations. SOLUTION: a) having a pH higher than 12.5; b) containing 0.4 to 1.1 mol / l of a p-phenylenediamine derivative; c) oxidation of 0.05 to 2 mol / l. D) contains at most 35% by weight of organic solvent with respect to the total solution, e) contains at most 50 mmol / l of sulfate ions and f) is single-phase p-phenylenediamine Concentrated aqueous solutions of the derivatives are suitable for the production of various color developer formulations.
