titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic materials and methine dyes |
abstract | (57) Abstract: Provided is a silver halide light-sensitive material having high sensitivity, little residual color after processing, small fluctuation in photographic properties after continuous processing, and not deteriorating pressure resistance. A silver halide photographic material containing at least one methine dye represented by the following general formula (I). General formula (I) In the formula (I), Y represents an atom group necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered unsaturated heterocyclic ring, and furthermore, even if condensed with another 5- or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring, May be provided. Z represents an atomic group necessary for forming a 5- to 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, and the aromatic ring may be condensed. R represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, aryl group, or heterocyclic group, and D represents a group necessary for forming a methine dye. L 1 and L 2 represent a methine group, and p represents 0 or 1. M represents a counter ion, and m represents a number of 0 or more necessary to neutralize the charge in the molecule. |
