titleOfInvention Method for producing meta-halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compounds
abstract (57) Abstract: A meta-halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compound is efficiently produced from a mixture containing a mixture of halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compound isomers and a mixture of halogenated branched alkyl aromatic compound isomers. A mixture containing a mixture of halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compound isomers and a mixture of halogenated branched alkyl aromatic compound isomers is contacted with a zeolite adsorbent containing lead ions and potassium ions to desorb meta-chlorotoluene. By separating a meta-halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compound as an agent, a high-purity meta-halogenated normal alkyl aromatic compound can be efficiently produced.
