titleOfInvention | Reversible thermosensitive recording medium |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Without reducing the contrast of an image, An object of the present invention is to provide a reversible thermosensitive recording medium having excellent moisture resistance and water resistance. SOLUTION: A reversible thermosensitive recording medium A is provided with a metal light reflecting layer 2 formed by vapor deposition of aluminum or the like on a synthetic resin film-like base material 1, and an intermediate layer 3 containing an antioxidant thereon. A heat-sensitive recording layer 4 is provided through the intermediary layer, and a protective layer 5 made of acrylic resin or the like and a printing layer 6 are further laminated, and all the layers are adhered to each other to form a laminated body. The heat-sensitive recording layer 4 is made of a heat-sensitive recording material composition in which particles of an organic low-molecular compound that undergoes a reversible crystal or melting phase transition with temperature are dispersed in a resin base material. Metallic light reflection because it makes it difficult to generate free radicals (radicals) that degrade the resin in the intermediate layer, or eliminates voids (bubbles) between the metal layer and the intermediate layer where moisture and hydrogen chloride enter. The layer does not deteriorate, the image contrast does not decrease even under the high humidity use condition of the heat-sensitive recording medium, and the reversible heat-sensitive recording medium has excellent moisture resistance and water resistance. |
