Method for producing hydrogenated aromatic vinyl polymer or hydrogenated cycloalkene vinyl polymer and its starting monomer |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a hydrogenated aromatic vinyl polymer or a hydrogenated cycloalkene vinyl polymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution and an extremely high hydrogenation rate. SOLUTION: A part or all of an aromatic vinyl compound or a cycloalkene vinyl compound is subjected to removal of a polymerization inhibitor and water, and then polymerized to obtain an aromatic vinyl polymer or a cycloalkene vinyl polymer. A method for producing a hydrogenated aromatic vinyl polymer or a hydrogenated cycloalkene vinyl polymer, comprising hydrogenating the polymer. |
