titleOfInvention Treatment method for fluorine-containing wastewater
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a fluorine-containing wastewater, which can minimize the amount of waste and greatly reduce the fluorine content, at a low processing cost. SOLUTION: (a) a step of adding a basic compound to a fluorine-containing acidic wastewater to adjust the pH to 8 to 10, and filtering out a deposited precipitate; and (b) a step obtained by the filtration. Adding a water-insoluble adsorbent substance substantially consisting of a rare earth compound to the filtrate, thereby adsorbing the fluorine to the water-insoluble substance to reduce the fluorine content in the wastewater. Solves the above problem.
