(57) Abstract: A dibenzorhodamine compound having the structure (1) (including its nitrogen-substituted form and aryl-substituted form) is disclosed. Also disclosed are intermediates useful for synthesizing such compounds. Such an intermediate has the structural formula (I). In formula (I), R 1 is H or (a), wherein Y is H, lower alkyl, lower alkene, aromatic, phenyl, polycyclic aromatic, heterocyclic, water solubilizing group, or Linking groups (including their substituted forms). When R 1 is H, the nitrogen attached to C-12 and the C-12 and C-13 carbons form a first ring structure having 4-7 members and / or have a bond to C-12. The nitrogen and the C-11 and C-12 carbons form a second ring structure having 5 to 7 members. The compounds of formula (I) further include their aryl and nitrogen substituted forms. The present invention further relates to an energy transfer dye containing a dibenzorhodamine compound, a nucleoside labeled with the dibenzorhodamine compound, and a nucleic acid analysis method using the dibenzorhodamine compound. |
