(57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a carbonyl compound from an olefin and an oxidizing agent, and more particularly to a method for producing acetaldehyde from ethene and oxygen. The olefins are oxidized in the reactor and a mixture containing non-oxidized olefins is obtained, especially after separation of water and aldehydes. The invention is characterized by the at least partial separation of non-oxidized olefins from other components in the reaction mixture, in particular carbon dioxide, using membrane technology. The recovered olefin can be recycled into the system. |
