titleOfInvention | Method and device for determining the adhesive performance of a flat adhesive product on human or mammalian skin |
abstract | SUMMARY The present invention relates to a method for determining the adhesive performance of a flat adhesive product such as a medicated adhesive tape, and in particular, an adhesive application system such as a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS). The method of the present invention is intended to provide a flat adhesive product having an adhesive layer with a defined application weight per unit surface and a defined quality of adhesive kneading at a given temperature and a given surface pressure at a given thickness. And an elastic carrier film having elasticity. The film is stretched like a membrane between the two half-shells of a test cell, and the carrier film, to which the flat adhesive product is fixed, is subjected to a defined stress load from the opposite side of the flat adhesive product. The elastic tension and relaxation are applied alternately in a regular time sequence according to the following. The peeling of the adhesive layer occurs progressively every unit time, and this is observed and evaluated qualitatively or quantitatively. |
