abstract (57) Abstract: A sand material mixture comprises, on the one hand, sand or a sand-like material of a specific particle size, and, on the other hand, a binder, wherein the binder is beeswax, beeswax-like material, or beeswax-like material. Or a mixture of such materials, is solid at room temperature, but exhibits a viscosity compatible with that of beeswax. The components of the sand material mixture are mixed in such a way that the particles of sand or sand-like material (10, 11) are provided with a coating of binder (12). Sand material mixtures have proven useful as toy materials, as teaching materials, and as materials for building landscape designs in imitation architectural landscape designs, museums or aquariums.
