abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to dual-curable silicone compositions that can crosslink when exposed to actinic radiation and / or heat. The composition of the present invention comprises a reactive polyorganosiloxane having a reactive functional group selected from the group consisting of (meth) acrylate, carboxylate, maleate, cinnamate, and combinations thereof; a silicon hydride crosslinking agent; A silation catalyst; and a photoinitiator. These compositions, due to the presence of certain olefinically unsaturated groups, can be cured to relatively thick films using ultraviolet light, and can also be partially or completely cured at room temperature or under heat exposure. These compositions are particularly useful as conformal coatings, particularly as coatings in electronic applications. |
