(57) [Summary]nA fabric softening active and a fabric softening composition comprising the same are provided. The active substance comprises triethanolamine together with a fatty acid and a dicarboxylic acid, and the total sum of the fatty acid and the dicarboxylic acid is in the range of 1.6: 1 to 2.5: 1 with respect to the triethanolamine. Of the resulting amine ester by reacting so as to have a molar ratio with respect to the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid of from 2.2: 1 to 11: 1 and / or corresponding to the quaternized compound. Consists of oligomeric salts. |
