abstract | (57) Abstract The present invention provides a method and apparatus for detecting and controlling termites. The present invention employs a hollow body (12) having a triangular cross section to support a slow acting toxic-impregnated cellulose bait (14). The hollow body (12) is partially placed in the ground such that the length of the body is along the surface of the ground. The top surface of the hollow body is transparent so that the bait can be easily seen through the top of the body. |
