(57) SUMMARY Methods and compositions for regulating nuclear trafficking of a nuclear protein comprising a high molecular weight form of FGF-2 are provided. A nuclear trafficking component that is approximately 29 kD has been identified as binding to FGF-2 and modulating nuclear localization. Inhibitors of 29 kD and FGF-2 binding are provided. |
