| abstract | (57) [Summary]nIt discloses a colored ink comprising an aqueous medium, a pigment, a dispersant and a wetting agent. Disclosed are inks in which the wetting agent that provides long decap times and rapid drying of the printed image is sulfonated polyethylene oxide. Further disclosed is an ink wherein the dispersant is an alkyl (sulfophenoxy) benzene sulfonic acid or a salt thereof. Such dispersants reduce agglomeration of the pigment particles and reduce or eliminate the adhesion of foreign matter on the heating element during the injection process. Various pigments, dispersants, wetting agents and aqueous media can be used. Combination of sulfonated polyethylene oxide wetting agent and alkyl (sulfophenoxy) benzenesulfonic acid (salt) dispersant has good stability, almost no kogation problem, long decap time and dry time Provides quick ink. |
