(57) [Abstract] A power supply system that incorporates a fuel cell that generates electric power to increase the economic viability of various forms of transportation. For example, the power supply system of the present invention allows for the external use of power generated by an internal power generation device such as a fuel cell of a mobile transportation power system such as an electric vehicle. External use, or in other words, power use at a remote location from a vehicle, includes delivery of power to a remote location. An external station is provided to deliver fuel to the vehicle and / or to receive power generated by the fuel cell. External stations and vehicles are equipped with quick and simple interconnects so that power can be extracted from the fuel cell and used externally. |
