titleOfInvention | Procedure for attaching substances to particles |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A method is provided for depositing a substance, particularly an organic substance, on one or more ultrafine particles. The method includes providing an amount of a substance to be deposited on the microparticles as well as an amount of the microparticles. The organic material is then introduced through a first conduit (12, 206) and the microparticles are sent through a second conduit (16, 212). The first (12, 206) and second (16, 212) conduits join at a junction (26, 214, 305) and the substance and the microparticles such that the substance adheres to and covers the microparticles. Is mixed there. In a preferred embodiment, a mixing means such as an in-line static mixer (22, 216, 238, 307, 317, 323, 329) is further provided for mixing the substance and the ultrafine particles with each other. I have. The coated microparticles can be used in all methods of immunoassays, nucleic acid assays, cell assays and therapeutic injectable drug applications. The ultrafine particles can be replaced with another organic substance in order to bond or adhere to the first organic substance. |
