titleOfInvention | Novel human phosphorylase kinase γ subunit |
abstract | (57) SUMMARY The present invention provides a novel human phosphorylase kinase γ subunit (HPHKG), and a polynucleotide that identifies and encodes HPHKG. The present invention provides expression vectors and host cells comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding HPHKG. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising purified HPHKG or an antisense molecule against HPHKG for the treatment of a disease associated with HPHKG expression. The invention also relates to diagnostics comprising a polynucleotide that hybridizes to a genomic sequence or transcript of a polynucleotide encoding HPHKG, or a fragment thereof, or a complementary sequence thereof, or an anti-HPHKG antibody that specifically binds to HPHKG. Included within the scope are compositions and the use of such compositions for diagnosis of disease. |
