abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is a light-shielding film for forming a black matrix to be laminated in a step of manufacturing a color panel such as a liquid crystal display, and a sputtering target for forming the light-shielding film. SOLUTION: Nb: contains 2 to 14%, and if necessary, one or two of Cu and V in total of 1 to 2 A light-shielding film for forming a black matrix containing 30% and having the balance of Ni and unavoidable impurities, and a sputtering target for forming the light-shielding film.
