titleOfInvention Electrostatic ink-jet ink and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic ink jet ink which can obtain a practically sufficient print density and is excellent in print stability, and suppresses an increase in electric resistance of a solvent and a coloring material. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an electrostatic ink jet ink that can effectively prevent bleeding of printing, lowering of printing density, enlargement of printing dots, etc. I do. SOLUTION: This is an electrostatic ink jet ink including a coloring material, an insulating solvent, and a charge controlling agent, wherein a current value Ia measured by applying an electric field to the ink and a coloring material of the ink are determined. The ratio (Ia / Ic) to the current value Ic measured by applying the electric field to the sedimented ink supernatant liquid is 10 0: 5 to 100: 90.
