(57) [Abstract] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To increase the capacity of an electric double layer capacitor. A pair of polarizable electrodes is impregnated with an electrolytic solution, An electric double layer capacitor is formed via the separator. At least one of the polarizable electrodes is constituted by a mixed electrode composed of a porous carbon-based material and a conductive polymer compound. The total amount of acidic groups in the porous carbon-based material is 0.40 μmol / m 2 or more and 4.0 μm with respect to the total surface area. ol / m 2 or less, and the conductive polymer compound is polyaniline or a derivative thereof. Further, the mixing ratio of the conductive polymer and the porous carbon-based material is not less than 5/95 and not more than 90/10 (weight ratio). |
